Peter True joined Hayes in 2010, bringing 15 years of Tier 1 automotive chassis and brake system design and testing experience to new markets.

He has accumulated extensive product development and launch experience in automotive, commercial, recreational, military, construction, and agriculture markets, all with a safety-critical mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical products focus. He has held successful leadership roles in Advanced Engineering, R&D, Product Development, Program and Product Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He has completed ASCM Certified Production and Inventory (CPIM) coursework, holds an ASQ Greenbelt certification, is named the inventor on several U.S. patents, and is a member of the SAE Milwaukee Section Board. He enjoys life on a hobby farm with his wife and two children and participates in cross-country dirt bike racing at regional and national levels.
